You will have the chance to work with educators, administrators, and students to develop and implement innovative technological solutions that enhance the classroom experience.Your role will be critical in supporting educators as they integrate technology into their curriculum and teaching practices. You will be responsible for helping educators to identify the most effective and efficient ways to use technology to engage students, enhance learning, and improve student outcomes.In addition to working in the classroom, you will also have the opportunity to work with our senior photographer in providing photography services, such as setting up for photography/videography shoot, editing photographs and videos and troubleshooting routine equipment repairs.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing instruction to instructors, staff and students on how to use equipment effectively and efficiently
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise with classroom technology, such as projectors, video conferencing system, and computer systems.
  • Implementing a rollout plan for new audio-visual technologies to ensure that classroom technology is used effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Editing post-production audio and/or visual material using various software tools, such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, to ensure final product meets the desired standards
  • Maintaining information on digital platforms
  • Conducting photography and/or videography shoots
  • Responding to service requests and providing technical support during classes in a timely fashion
  • Keeping well-informed on current and emerging technologies, best practices and industry standards
Essential Qualifications:
  • Advanced College Diploma (3 years) in Audio-Visual Services or acceptable combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • Minimum three years of experience with audio-visual, electronic classroom and computer systems, projection, photography and video equipment.
  • Demonstrated experienced of industry-standard video-conferencing and web streaming product lines.
  • Experience installing, connecting and testing audio-visual components.
  • Expert knowledge of industry-standard video-conferencing and web streaming product lines.
  • Excellent communication,interpersonal and customer service skills, including professional written and oral communication skills to respond appropriately to formal correspondence with faculty and staff.
  • Ability to effectively conduct presentations in order to demonstrateclassroom equipment use.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment, time management and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and deliver and service equipment.
