We work across disciplines to create the intelligent systems, sustainable buildings, and efficient infrastructure that shapes the way people live, move, learn, and heal.With over 3,000 employees and 60+ offices around the world, we understand what it takes to work locally and scale globally.At IBI, we’re defining the cities of tomorrow.Job DescriptionThis is an excellent opportunity for ambitious professionals to grow and develop within IBI’s Information Technology practice!As part of the Intelligence team, the Network Analyst will be responsible for providing network support and administration to multiple client projects within our Intelligence division on an international level.Most of the things youll work on:Provide hands-on network administration support, network maintenance and operations support.Recommend networking hardware and software enhancements.Build, configure, and troubleshoot local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other remote offices’ networks including any recommendations and enhancements for other field devices.Configure IPsec and SSL VPNs, firewall rules and security policies on traditional and next generation firewalls to enhance overall network security.Plan and implement security measures to protect the network from cyber-attacks, intrusion, infiltration and unknown threats.Plan and install syslog servers and verify logs to troubleshoot problems.Help the team by doing inventory and documenting the infrastructure as well as fine tuning the policies to enhance operations.Diagnose and correct network systems issues along with issues pertaining to other field devices.Provide up-to-date system and network documentation and inventories.Support initiatives with on-site support and to travel to other local offices as needed.Provide after-hours coverage for any emergency situations.QualificationsYoull need to have:Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies, or related field experience.5 to 7 years of related network support experienceMust be CCNA Security certified, or CCNA [(200-301) after 24-Feb 2020].CCNP security / CCNP (R&S) will be an asset.Ideally working towards or full certification in JNCIAMust have worked on Cisco ASA 5500-X and firepower technologiesExcellent understanding of networking technologies, protocols and hardware.Working experience of network concepts, including the TCP/IP model, routing protocols, switching technologies and firewall policies.Experience with routers, switches, access points and firewalls of different vendors including Cisco, Meraki, Juniper and HP.Knowledge of Cisco IOS and Junos.Strong understanding of technical troubleshooting methodology.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Excellent written and oral communication skills.An aptitude to learn and take on new challenges.Ability to travel to other IBI offices within the GTA as needed (international travel may be required in future).Ability to be available on-call.Additional InformationWe are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19 but when we do the office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at IBI Group.
