Job Description

Overview:LEON’S IS HIRING AN OFFICE ADMINISTRATORLeon’s Home Office is currently hiring an Office Administrator to support our rapidly expanding IT Department. Leon’s is Canada’s most trusted home furnishings retailer, and after more than a century of success, we are still growing! This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially stable, highly trusted, Canadian company. We are located at 401 and Weston Road. This is an on-site position and reports to the Development Manager.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • MS Office365 skill sets in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge on Web conferencing software i.e. Zoom and Teams
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivated and ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with IT technologies on Smartphones & Tablets, Apple store and Installing Apps
  • Basic computer knowledge i.e., Hooking up computer and peripherals, USB devices
  • Basic knowledge of MMHF and POS+
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • General Office Administration
  • Organize incoming IT request and provide acknowledgement to stakeholders
  • Organize, setup IT meetings / conference calls for various IT business operations
  • Take meeting minutes, carry out tasks follow ups and project status requests
  • Document filing, Scanning and data entry
  • Posting technical documents to IT internal departmental website
IT DUTIES
  • Entry level computer software inventory and licensing management
  • Software subscription renewal and assignment
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
  • Contact IT vendors for price quotations, issue PO for IT purchases
  • Web ordering and IT spare parts fulfillment
  • Tracking IT purchases and associated paperwork
  • Organizing IT invoices and receiving functions
OTHER
  • Other duties as assigned.
