It will also support targeted marketing efforts for Canada to increase brand awareness and revitalize its communications efforts to senior leaders. This role will report to the Marketing Lead for Alumni and Culture while also working closely with the talent management and country leadership teams. This role serves as a hub for marketing activities related to recruiting, alumni and culture and the key point of contact for Canadian marketing. As an integral part of the global digital marketing team, this role will support organic and paid social media campaigns as well enable broader internal adoption of social media channels so that the broader firm can be Brand Ambassadors. This role is a tremendous opportunity for anyone passionate about building a brand in a key geography and in particular driving culture, inclusion, and recruitment marketing using digital and social media.Key Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and promotion of Oliver Wyman digital and social media communications related to our recruiting, alumni and culture efforts
  • Work with the Recruiting, Alumni, and Culture teams to translate their ideas and key job positions into compelling digital pieces and differentiated interactive and visual content for Oliver Wyman social channels, driving engagement and ultimately greater attraction and retention of talent; skills include copyediting, storyboarding, data visualization, and collaboration across marketing function and design team.
  • Support the Canada Market leader on targeted campaigns and events that builds brand awareness in the Canadian market. Specific responsibilities would be managing e-distributions and being a key point-of-contact for marketing campaigns in Canada. This market-based aspect of the role provides tremendous learning and development opportunities given the variety of marketing campaigns and industries served.
  • Specifically: Prepare organic job-of-the-week posts (LinkedIn and Bambu) and employee spotlight posts, prepare alumni posts (spotlights, events, news), quarterback larger recruiting/culture campaign efforts, e.g. Intern Day, help set up and monitor LinkedIn ad campaigns, monitor social conversation, find employee posts to engage with, develop regular marketing recruiting reports to measure efficacy of campaigns
  • Provide marketing support for key events related to recruiting, alumni and culture building, along with Canada-market efforts. Duties would include covering the events in social media and assisting in digital branding and communication efforts.
  • Manage and grow recruiting, alumni and culture social channels including @Oliver Wyman Twitter, Oliver Wyman LinkedIn pages, while exploring new channels; skills needed include: demonstrated ability to build social media audiences, ability to discern top news and influencers, demonstrated success in social media engagement, and experience with paid promotional campaigns.
  • Lead social media training for consultants and staff; skills needed include: in-person and online presentation skills, outgoing personality, teaching/training experience, PowerPoint skills, knowledge and comfort level with a variety of social media platforms.
  • Regular content engagement and social media reports; skills needed include: Google Analytics, Sprout Social, LinkedIn analytics, other social monitoring tools, and ability to set key metrics, review data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Update pages on OliverWyman.com and ensure connectivity across digital properties. Skills needed: Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Ensure Oliver Wyman content is captured and current in the firm’s CRM System and be aware of broader firm content and how it can be leveraged through Oliver Wyman channels.
Experience Required
  • BA degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 3 yrs. marketing / communications experience; experience in or working with a professional services firm ideal
  • Specific experience in writing for, editing, and managing web and social media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Skills needed include: Microsoft Office, writing, video development, news judgement, knowledge of consulting field, ability to manage relationships with external collaborators or vendors, and creativity.
