Central Office (77 Bloor St. West)Hybrid work environmentAs the leading clothing retailer of finer menswear based in Toronto and operating in major centres across Canada, Harry Rosen has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Full-time Online Merchandiser, as part of our Ecommerce Team within Central Office. If you have a strong interest and passion for fashion & strong analytics skills – this is an ideal role for you.We are seeking a professional to join our E-Commerce Department and be accountable for the following responsibilities:If you have a strong interest in retail fashion, merchandising (allocation) and analytic skills – this is an ideal role for you.Online Merchandising

  • Develop and execute merchandising plans to support business objectives
  • Maximize sales and conversion through development of online merchandising strategies that parallel department objectives
  • Recommend product for campaigns, upsells/cross sells, search improvements etc.
  • Alongside E-Commerce Analytics team, plan customer journey and shorten path to purchase
  • Create content plans to enhance page merchandising including recommendations for PRP, iPDP development, e-mail URLs, attributes etc.
  • Ensure content plans are aligned business and campaign objectives
Planning & Reporting
  • Present monthly business updates (KPI’s, action plans and initiatives)
  • Recommend and inform on future buys
  • Develop dropship product plan to align with category growth plans
  • Support the onboarding of dropship programs, as required
  • Develop and implement A/B test plans related to merchandising
Customer Service & Engagement
  • Provide back-up support with e-commerce customer service, orders, and fraud (includes after-hours/weekends)
  • Support customer service questions related to product
  • Convey online only products/brands to internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with studio production team, buyers and vendor partners to ensure brands are accurately represented online
Special Projects
  • Support occasional special projects that involve cross-functional team
The successful candidate will have the following background/experience:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in digital planning or merchandising skills, and 2 years related experience in a e-commerce retailer
  • An exceptional orientation to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong sense of urgency with the proven ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional computer skills, specifically Excel, as well as Word, and Outlook
  • Harry Rosen sales experience, an asset
