Job Description

Business Analyst On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst. Business Analyst – Job Description

  • Back office for traders, make sure that settlement of trade takes place, list of trades for the settlement dates and ensure they receive funds from client and ensure funds are correctly sent
  • Post settlement investigations
  • Global Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve the Bank #39;s assets / reputation
  • Responsible for the exception and risk management for the Global Rates and Credit Derivatives businesses including the end-to-end processes for pre and post trade functions including settlement, trade life cycle events, reconciliations and investigations
  • The role will require extensive co-ordination and interaction with various Operations teams, Salesamp; Trading, Technology, Compliance, Legal and other professionals across the firm along with our clients to mitigate risks associated with the reconciliation and investigation of derivative transactions
  • Ability to demonstrate an innovative and proactive approach by highlighting inefficiencies, risk and implementing improvements to streamline our processes
  • Strong risk assessment skills along with a sound knowledge of the Bank #39;s risk and control framework and proactively identify risk - evaluate and enhance controls
  • Be engaged member of the team, promote team effectiveness and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Ability to provide a high level of customer service to our business partners and clients
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to develop and interact effectively within bank, including our executive team
  • Demonstrate Framework and shared commitments in the daily activities
Business Analyst – Mandatory Skills
  • Excellent understanding of the Derivatives products the businesses support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Visio, Adobe and PowerPoint
  • Highly developed critical thinking, data analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Business Analyst - Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience in Python, Alteryx
  • Experience in large financial organization
  • Proficient in various systems used by the business (i.e., Calypso, RCM, PMG etc.)
Business Analyst - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 12 months to start Business Analyst - Assignment Location Toronto, ON – Work Hybrid
