Job Description

Commitment: 40 hrs/week, 16 monthsStart Date: May 20231VALET is looking for an Operations Intern to join our team for a 16 month internship starting in May 2023. In this role, you will be a valued member of the 1VALET Operations team and will communicate directly with clients and key stakeholders in the company. You’ll be joining an amazing hard-working group that’s changing the future of apartment and condo living!Responsibilities:As the Operations Intern, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with testing of IOT based suite devices on-site with the given guidelines.
  • Update and Manage the Project Management Software (Birdview) and be the Point of Contact for any support required for the users
  • Assist with audits of the operations google drive and file organization
  • Markup basic building drawings, construction drawings and provide operational support
  • Assist the Customer Care team in the Admin Portal with building creation, amenities assignment etc
  • Project coordination tasks (monitor, track, and record data activity to improve visibility/communication)
  • Assist the internal teams with any reports required from the Project Management Software
  • This is a hybrid position. When required work from the Office located in Markham
  • Travel will be required to different sites in GTA to provide on-site support for building staff and security integrators (travel mileage will be reimbursed)
Job Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas
  • You’re a self-starter and have the ability to work independently
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and you are tech savvy
  • Possession of strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Creativity and willingness to bring in new perspectives and ideas to the business
  • Must be located in the Greater Toronto Area and have the ability to travel (valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle)
