Role Summary
  • The Operations Intern (Finance) will be dealing with Data entry, filing, reports generating using multiple Project Management/Accounting tools and systems and Analytical and management support work assignments
Responsibilities
  • Data entry, filing, reports generating using multiple Project Management/Accounting tools and systems
  • Attend Meetings and take notes
  • Track and manage receipt of Vendor Contracts
  • Manage mailings, vendor database
  • Enter expenses in budget spreadsheet
  • Collect, understand, process, verify and report accounting related-information to his/her vertical head
  • Analytical and management support work assignments
  • Assistance may be required in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
  • Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications Manage specialized information, reports, forms dealing with fees, billing, tracking of projects etc
  • Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
  • Process and manage accounts receivable (A/R) billing and handle billing correspondence with external clients.
  • Draft corrective action plans, processes/procedures, and manage changes
  • Manage a team to leverage demand planning, supply , 6 sigma strategic sourcing processes, and support in negotiating vendor pricing.
  • Manage SharePoint database and spreadsheet for coverage opinion bills.
  • Other duties, as assigned
Required QualificationsFormal Education or Equivalent
  • Pursuing Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting
  • computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Practical Knowledge of Accounting Systems, SAP, Project Tracking Tools
Years of Experience
  • 1-2 Years of experience in finance/accounting/bookkeeping
