Job Description

At North Medical Spa, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional client experience in an inclusive, welcoming, caring environment. To help maintain and grow this standard, we’re seeking an experienced operations manager to continue to advance our systems and processes as we scale. As an ideal candidate, you’ll have a sharp business mind and proven success managing multiple priorities toward maximum productivity. You’ll be highly skilled in creative problem solving with the client experience top of mind. Overseeing inventory, logistics and systems, you have strong business acumen and are digitally savvy. Experience opening new stores/ locations in a similar industry is a major advantage.

  • Please note the candidate must have an active license and be able to travel between our King Street East and Oakville locations regularly.
The Role:
  • Act as an ambassador for North Medical Spa in all interactions, adopting the (internal and external) client service approach of empowerment, education and kindness.
  • Maintain strong communication with management, staff, and vendors to fully understand all aspects of the business and ensure optimized operations
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
  • Provide recommendations on initiatives to scale business and drive efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities to drive sales, reduce waste and maximize profits
  • Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to add expertise in improving processes, tools and systems
  • Manage inventory levels, and ordering processes
  • Optimize logistics amongst ecommerce and retail for all products
  • Conduct budget reviews and provide reporting, as required
  • Assist in growth objectives and opening future locations
  • Additional responsibilities as the role and candidate evolve
The Profile:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration or related field, an asset
  • 2+ years’ experience in an operations management position in similar industry
  • Strong budget development and oversight skills
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of inventory, purchasing and logistics
  • Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation processes
  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications;
  • Working knowledge of management software programs, including Collage, QuickBooks, and WagePoint Payroll
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience working with an ERP system, a definite asset
