Job Description

SALES REPRESENTATIVE – ONTARIO SPECIALTY CHEESE & FINE FOODSArtisan West Marketing is seeking a passionate individual with experience in the food industry and know-how to develop new business and maintain strong relationshipsYOU

  • Passionate about specialty foods – and a LOVE for CHEESE
  • Sales experience in the food industry – cheese category an asset
  • Communicate effectively – written & verbal
  • Conduct oneself with integrity and strong ethics

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily/weekly
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts
  • Monitor category competitors, new products, and market conditions
  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • Work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Increase account penetration, maximizing portfolio
  • Develop territory & customer base throughout all regions
  • Execute trade shows, community events (including demos supporting initiatives)
LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Ontario – GTA and surrounding area’s (Hamilton, Guelph, London, Ottawa)
  • Service all customers regularly/required, including outlying communities
  • Local, provincial, and inter provincial travel as business demands
  • Available to start in 2-4 weeks’ timeframe

Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • sales: 3 years (preferred)
