Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with data analysis and SQL queries.
  • Experience in a client-facing and engineering role and experience with coding.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and/or Unix/Linux, programming/scripting experience with Python, Java, Shell, and/or C/C++
Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA, Masters degree, or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with internet video technologies (e.g., Digital Rights Management solutions, video/audio codecs, live streaming, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a customer-facing or partner-facing role, including in the context of discussing agreements.
  • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

As a Partner Technology Manager, youll lead deployments, optimize implementations, and manage integrations to build effective, successful, long-term partnerships.Youll manage technical engagements with media companies and be responsible for the ongoing success and satisfaction of a portfolio of partners. By managing the technical relationship with an understanding of their business objectives and values, you will drive partnership success through the effective adoption of our product offerings.You will have the opportunity to lead projects and teams that require collaboration across other functions.   • Manage technical relationships across various content functions. Work closely with the Business Development team as the technical expert helping to discuss agreements and make sure our partners are successful on YouTube.
  • Identify, drive, and optimize the flow of business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation.
  • Perform implementation reviews, advocate for product features and internal tools, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
  • Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing the necessary documentation and technical guidance.
