IntroductionIBM Payment Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesPosition OverviewThe Payment consultant, is expected to have proven experience in the Financial Service industry and demonstrate excellent Payment’s knowledge to develop new business opportunities, leading to client acceptance of IBM terms and conditions for services delivery. They must understand large and complex services engagements in their area of expertise, with a demonstrated expert knowledge of the appropriate methods and skills needed to solve business problems in the payments industry.Expertus, an IBM Company, is a Montreal-based financial technology company specializing in end-to-end digital payments to help customers deal with aging payment infrastructures used by banks, credit unions, regulation and big business. The acquisition strengthens IBMs portfolio as a provider of end-to-end payment platform solutions, further advancing IBMs hybrid cloud and AI strategy.Main responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities, creatively participate in the development of solutions, and to provide strong assistance to IBM in the winning of that business;
• Be familiar with the contractual requirements for their area of practice and be capable of drafting and reviewing responses to Requests for Information (RFI), responses to Requests for Proposal (RFP), IBM contracts, and IBM statements of work;
• Develop strong and trusted relationships with other areas of IBM used in the delivery of complex services;
• Adapt communications and approaches to conclude negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements;
• Analyze complex/new situations;
• Anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks.
• Develop and implement solutions.
• Recognized as an expert in their field
