To make our network of over 1400 travel entities more profitable, efficient and help them create truly unique travel for their clients.Job DescriptionThe Payroll & Benefits Administrator will be responsible for working closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the accurate processing of the semi-monthly Canadian payroll and maintenance of the payroll system.ResponsibilitiesProvide support and capacity to our Payroll ManagerAssist in the preparation and administration of Semi-weekly payrollAudit payroll processing reports for accuracyEnsure that all wages are paid accurately and in a timely fashionPrepare require reconciliations and forms (ROEs, tax forms)Assist in the preparation of ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including all year-end processing requirementsAssist with employee inquiries concerning payroll administrationAssist with the processing of payroll changes (new hires, termination, salary changes, etc.)Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll function for audit purposesAssist with the entry and maintenance of the company benefit programsQualificationsMinimum 2+ years of experience in a payroll administrator rolePursuing Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificationTeam player with excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsStrong payroll and benefit accounting experienceExperience with ADP WFN (Workforce Now) would be considered an assetKnowledge of ESA and taxationHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAdditional InformationCultural FitAble to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.Team-orientedThrives in a KPI driven environmentHighly functional in a fast paced, constantly changing workplace - building plans through iterations from learning on what’s working and not workingAbility to build trust and work through conflict both upwards and downwardWe thank all candidates for their interest however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.TripArc is committed to providing employment accommodation in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
