Job Description

Pharmacy Assistant/Technician for a pharmacy in Scarborough.Position Type: Part Time /Full TimeKey responsibilities of a Remedy’s Pharmacy Assistant/Technician include:

  • Patient greeting and confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling,
  • Data entry of patient care information into Fillware and TP adjudication
  • Accurate dispensing prescription medications,
  • Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
  • General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary,
  • Handling customer prescription pick up, Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma
  • Certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant/Technician program preferred
  • 1-2 year experience is required as a Pharmacy Assistant/Tech preferably in Fillware software
  • Excellent computer skills with good typing speed
  • Excellent organization skills, proactive, team player, strong motivated
