Job Description

We are currently seeking a PHARMACY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST to join our team at FGC Health!FGC Health LP owns, operates, and services independent pharmacies, medical clinics, home health care, and ambulatory care agencies. We address and fill the gaps for personal health care that exist today, to shape a better tomorrow.Reporting in remotely to the central Support Office, the Operations Specialist will spend 80% of their time travelling to and working at FGC Health pharmacies and medical clinics within the Greater Toronto Area and Bradford, Ontario. The successful candidate will provide hands-on operational support to our locations, including but not limited to:Signage & Promotional Materials

  • Ensuring stores comply with store signage and promotional standards
  • Assisting marketing team in deploying upgraded store signage and promotional materials
  • Picking up and dropping off signage at each location and installing it when on site
  • Coordinating signage delivery
Store Systems
  • Ensuring store standards for technology are met
  • Performing basic IT maintenance tasks with full guidance from the Central IT Team
  • Acting as the first line of support for the stores on IT-related issues that are first-order emergencies (e.g. fax machine goes down and needs to be repaired/replaced)
  • Coordinating signage delivery
Phone/Internet/Wi-Fi Systems
  • Ensuring phone systems are used in compliance with store standards
  • Coordinating phone hardware delivery with phone companies
  • Installing phone equipment with direction of phone company
  • Installing televisions in each location connected with the internet
Printers
  • Assisting with on-site troubleshooting of printer-related matters with the full support of the Central IT Team
  • Ordering new printers and toners as required
  • Checking with stores to ensure printers and faxes are working properly at all times
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on retail operations support experience or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience; retail pharmacy experience would be an asset
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the Greater Toronto Area and Bradford
  • Demonstrated ability to follow expert guidance and perform straightforward installations of retail support items – e.g. phone equipment
  • Proficient and comfortable with technology and technology supports (e.g. printers, faxes)
  • Handyperson skills with the ability to perform general labor and lift up to 100 pounds
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Results-driven with a high sense of urgency
  • Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting abilities, focused on providing superior internal customer support
  • Possesses a valid Ontario driver’s license without restrictions and a clean driver’s abstract to drive a company-leased car
