At Mani Wonders Inc., we believe in making products that bring simplicity and inspiration to your everyday life.We are seeking a Photographer/Videographer Intern to join our Toronto team. The incumbent thrives in the creative expression in the visual medium and encapsulating the essence of Mani Wonders.Responsibilities:Create permanent visual images or video assets for an exceptionally wide range of creative, technical and documentary purposesConsult with stakeholders from production to post-production processLiaise with other professionals, including graphic designers, writers, gallery managers, picture researchers, commissioning editors and art directorsContinuously discover and implement new shooting technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency and footage qualityAbility to work in different location and in different circumstances to get the perfect contentExtensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist softwareDeveloping expertise with software to digitally enhance images by, for example, changing emphasis, cropping pictures, correcting minor faults, or moving objects aroundProduce a variety of content types in the form of high quality photos, videos, stop-motion, Gifs, cinemagraphs, boomerangsProduct Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEnsure management is informed and up-to-date on the status/progress of projects, and all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activitiesTypical of any start-up, the ability to navigate ambiguity and mitigate it with creativity is crucial. With ambiguity comes the opportunity to develop new process and establish strong infrastructureRequirements:Well versed in digital communication platforms including SharePoint, Websites, and Social media platformsSolid experience with digital technology and post-edit software packages (adobe Photoshop., adobe Premiere, and/or After Effects)Demonstrable video shooting ability with a strong portfolioThorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity and the essence of brand representationExcellent written, oral, listening and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and work on multiple tasks across multiple projects with cross-functional teamsExperience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Project, Agile Software and MS Visio or similar product for process flowOrganized and disciplined with a track record of completing tasks on-time and to a high standardAn individual who cares deeply about creating a unique brand experienceStrong attention to detailMotion graphic and 3D animation skill set is an assetCreativity isn’t limited to degrees but an educational background in film production, cinematography or a relevant field is an assetInterested candidates are welcome to submit resume/CV to careers@maniwonders.com
