Overview:MyoHealth Rehab and Wellness Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our team of health care providers. We are a private clinic that specializes in catastrophic medical cases including brain injuries, amputations and spinal cord injuries. Joining this multi-disciplinary clinic with two locations in the GTA (Scarborough and Etobicoke) offers the right individual an opportunity to lead the physiotherapy care of our patients in a culture that is patient-focused, diverse, inclusive and encourages personal growth. This full-time role provides full benefits, on-site parking, private clinic space and trained staff to handle all schedulingamp; billing.Roles and Responsibilities:- Provide direct assessment and consultation of a patient #39;s physical abilities and needs- Developing a treatment plan according to the patient #39;s individualized needs- Prepare medical reports and assessments- Develop great rapport with the patient and be actively involved in all elements of their recovery process- Knowledge of and experience with modalities – IFC, TENS, ultrasound, laser, Theragun- Experience and/or certification with custom orthotics, custom bracing, and compression socks/hosiery- Ability to assist with client acquisition and retention as neededQualifications:- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario- Experience with insurance procedures (WSIB, EHC, MVA) would be a strong asset- Strong leadership skills- Self-motivated individual with ability to work as a team- Performance-oriented- Excellent interpersonal skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Commitment to quality care and service delivery- An interest in helping people with physical disabilities and injuries- The ability to work both individually and as part of a health care team, with a strong understanding of when and how to make interdisciplinary referrals- Experience in multidisciplinary work environments
