We know how to get things done and have fun at the same time, and are looking for someone who can do the same.https://www.unitedlegwear.com/Job Summary:The Planning Manager is responsible for working with all cross functional partners to create sales plans, managing inventory, analyzing sales trends, manage budgets and forecasts and help formulate strategic initiatives to maximize revenue profitability. This position would collaborate externally with accounts creating a strong partnership. The incumbent is expected to build Open to Buy (OTB) plans, perform various analyses and provide findings and recommendations that will help maximize revenue while driving the enhanced profitability of the business. This associate will work closely with the Sales team to ensure that divisional strategy is executed, and monthly forecast and annual budget are attained. Essential Functions (Including but not limited to):

  • Works with the accounts to build Pre-seasonamp; In-season Open to Buy (OTB) plans incl. Sales, Inventory, Markdowns, Margin projections, as well as Promotions and Moving Holidays
  • Understands market competitions and analyzes Pricing (MSRP) at SKU level to ensure profitability
  • Translates OTB plan into monthly forecast and annual budget, and works closely with Sales team on all operational matters to deliver financial targets
  • Identifies risks and opportunities to forecast and help formulate a strategy to offset
  • Reviews core and fashion forecasts and place buys to ensure receipts are within plan or forecast;
  • Manages inventory receipts flow and provide analysis at style / color level
  • Works closely with the Production to maintain an acceptable weeks of supply while maximizing sales
  • Participates in customer meetings and market appointments as required
  • Completes Ad hoc request, projects and presentations
Presents and interprets Results/Recommendations to the teamQualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of experience in Planning and Analysis
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office (advanced Excel).
  • Advanced understanding of retail math
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication with all stakeholders
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret data and draw valid conclusions that show understanding and insight.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively under critical time frames and work on multiple assignments.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly with keen attention to detail and follow-up.
