APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE POSITION OFPLUMBER EAST/WEST FACILITIES, FACILITIES MAINTENANCE CUPE LOCAL 4400 SALARY - $40.75/Hr. There are three (3) positions available. Hours are from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Hours of work will fall within the evening shift band and may change consistent with the collective agreement. Hours to be confirmed upon hire.) With a staff of 14,000, the Toronto Catholic is a dynamic school board and is seeking three (3) plumbers. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of five years (5) practical experience in construction, maintenance, or service industry Demonstrable knowledge of building plumbing systems Ability to function without close supervision RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor in their assigned region Responsible for an established preventative maintenance routine Timely response to emergency needs and repairs to all plumbing systems within the region Responsible for safe operation and safekeeping of tools supplied by the Board, safe operation and maintenance of company vehicle, while in use Maintain accurate records (e.g., vehicle maintenance, work orders, timesheets etc) Perform other job related duties as required The use of proper safety protective equipment is required at all times EDUCATION Must have a valid current Plumbing License from Skilled Trades Ontario Backflow Prevention Certification or in progress (Cross Connection Control Specialist) Must have a valid Ontario Driver #39;squot;G quot; license.
