Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:Pricing of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance solutions, including experience analyses, developing assumptions, projections and assessing profitability.Active involvement in the tender process for new and existing opportunities – both leading on pricing exercises and checking work of other team members.Developing and enhancing PartnerRe’s Life & Health proposition across the LatAm market, including product and benchmark development.Follow-up and analysis of the in-force portfolio in coordination with In-force Management and Valuation teams.Representing PartnerRe at client meetings and in industry conferences or bodies.About youYou are a technically excellent actuary with an ability to price life business and driven by a desire to add value. Moreover, you ideally have the following background and skills:Qualified actuary or a senior trainee making good progress in their actuarial exams with at least 4 years of (re-)insurance pricing experience.Experience of pricing business lines including mortality and morbidity.Analytical skills and the ability to work on complex projects.Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectivelyExperience in MS Excel and actuarial projections systems (e.g. AXIS) or statistical software (e.g. R)Good verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an effective way.
