Principal Consultant - Unified Inventory Management-210010CNApplicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages: EnglishPreferred QualificationsORACLE CORPORATIONPrincipal Consultant - Unified Inventory Management (UIM), Communications Applications Global Business Unit (CAGBU).This Unified Inventory Management (UIM) Consulting Subject Matter Expert (SME) position enables the candidate to excel at being an OSS consultant and provides an opportunity to work on multiple Oracle Communications OSS Stack products.Preferred 4+ years of experience with deep knowledge of Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM) 7.4.X.Required Skills:

  • UIM (cartridge development, application Installation (Stand-alone and HA-clustered), database installation
  • Extension Points configuration and rule set development
  • Integration of UIM with upstream systems using web services
  • SFWS, Custom web services, UIM APIs
  • UIM PSR model (CFS/RFS/Resource) and able to model logical as well as physical inventory in UIM cartridges
  • UIM Inventory Managers such as Service Manager, Custom Object Manager, Search Criteria Manager etc.
  • Understanding of Calculate Technical Actions webservice and interaction with UIM’s Business Interactions and CFS/RFS
  • Knowledge on conceptual modelling
  • UIM integration with OSM
Additional Skills:
  • Good knowledge of Network domain such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, VoIP
  • Enterprise and Retail Voice /Data / GSM implementation experience
  • Experience in modeling and implementing Service Inventory if various domains
  • Core skills in UIM, Unix, Java, and PL/SQL
  • Should have good working knowledge in UNIX / LINUX environment / Unix
  • Experience with Shell Scripts
  • Must have experience troubleshooting/configuring base application packages
  • Must be able to install and maintain documentation standards
  • Ability to multi-task and delegate work to other team members when in a team lead role
  • Understanding and experience in using ERD diagrams in a business analyst role
  • Ability to model design flows and produce HLD/LLD documentation based on requirements
  • Ability to convert LLD or technical document into UIM cartridges
  • Ability to work independently based on inputs from LLD
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in developing and debugging WebServices
  • Understanding of the Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution
  • Should possess awareness of TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model & Oracle RODOD/RSDOD Solution
  • Should be able to perform code build and deployment of the completed codes into the development and testing environment
  • Should be able to work both as an individual and in a team
  • Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MTech in any of this branch - Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, and Telecommunications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
