Our Procurement team finds destination management companies (DMC) around the world who provide these services, or they source them directly. The Product team curates these product components and then weaves them together into itineraries that span varying price levels and themes.Kensington strives to surprise and delight at every turn with authentic, extraordinary, and unexpected experiences. Our brand promise - to create the experience that changes the life.Job DescriptionReporting to the Product Director of Kensington Tours, the Product Development Specialist plays a key role in conveying our brand identity across all digital marketing and sales collateral.With a requirement for advanced writing skills, creative flair, attention-to-detail and a collaborative spirit, the Product Development Specialist ensures that all content within our global portfolio is compelling and up to date within our database (TMT). The Product Development Specialist is accountable for ensuring accuracy of both the client-facing content and technical components of every service. This role has a critical impact on our core business outcomes including marketing campaign performance and sales team quoting efficiency.Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain all client-facing content (copy and imagery) within an assigned geographic portfolio.
  • Ensure the highest possible quality and accuracy of all client and sales-facing content (copy, imagery, logistical clarity, service inclusions).
  • Prepare new services and itineraries for digital publication (technical database entry, image selection, and copy writing) in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Identify missing or unclear information in tariffs/documentation and liaise directly with vendors to ensure accuracy and high level-of-detail.
  • Compile, maintain and complete project build grids, cross-referencing with both itinerary templates/concepts and vendor tariffs.
  • Determine when to make use of license free imagery vs. paid credits (i.e., Getty Images).
  • Participate in small and large-scale projects as part of cross-functional team, ensuring that both quality standards and timelines are met.
  • Liaise with international vendors daily related to creative projects, year-over-year updates, and day-to-day product maintenance.
  • Communicate product updates and itinerary sales status effectively with the sales floor and marketing teams via monthly updates, internal newsletters and team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned including competitive intelligence gathering, creative ideation and sales team training.
Qualifications
  • Advanced communication skills – ability to write with a clear sense of style and consistency across regions
  • Superior attention-to-detail
  • Travel industry experience preferred, especially in a tour operator or tailormade environment
  • Experience working with international partners whose first language is not English is an asset
  • Proven ability to demonstrate creative and innovative thinking
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Able to work in a fast paced, changing, entrepreneurial environment and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Upbeat personality with a comfort being both a team player and a self-starter
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and strong aptitude to learn to use new software
  • Experience with selecting and managing digital images and file management
