At WPO, you will be joining a team that is committed to improving employee wellbeing around the world.Description:Workplace Options has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager in our Toronto, Canada office. This would be a hybrid position with a mixture of home and office working days. The Product Manager will oversee the strategic vision and the successful development of Workplace Options’ mobile application. The mobile application represents one modality for our clients to access wellbeing services 24/7 and is a vital part of our growth strategy. The ideal candidate can implement problem-solving skills and present solutions for the growth of our product.Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision and roadmap for the product
  • Collaborate with and anticipate the needs of our uses and clients and translate them into product requirements
  • Oversee all stages of product creation, including design and development and testing
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze and define product requirement and participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Recommend development that anticipates or responds to client or members’ needs, trends in the marketplace, or changes in business needs or WPO’s capabilities.
  • Appraise new product development ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • Create product documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales and account management teams on the development, QA, and release of the product and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Workplace Options’ mobile app and its features across primary market segments
  • Mitigate risk by assessing downstream impact and addressing the risk proactively
  • Provide weekly project updates to the Director of Product Development
  • Coordinate monthly product meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide quarterly reports detailing development status
