Points was acquired by Plusgrade in 2022, making the combined companies the global leaders in ancillary revenue for the travel industry.Job DescriptionAs a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining product strategy and collaborating with engineering, marketing and sales to bring world class solutions from conception to your customer. You will aggregate customer requirements, prioritize new capabilities, build product roadmaps and manage the product life cycle and bring those product capabilities to market.In this role, you will work on our flagship product which is a white label solution that has helped some of the world’s biggest loyalty programs become engagement and revenue engines for the airline or hotel chains they represent.Reporting to the VP, Product Innovation & Growth, the Product Manager, will be responsible for:

  • Oversee the product migration strategy for our applications in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Leading product discovery activities by working with loyalty program partners, program members and internal teams.
  • Recognizing new technology, customer segments, and loyalty market trends and how they impact the business to help drive product strategies and long-term roadmaps.
  • Defining all aspects of product requirements and specifications, including loyalty partner
  • migrations, integrations, transaction flows, operational processes, and product adoption documentation.
  • Collaborating with our Product Designer to create compelling product experiences for loyalty
  • programs and their members.
  • Working closely with the Product Managers, Directors, and VP of Product to continually evaluate
  • our portfolio of products/services to maximize revenue for our loyalty partners and for Points as a company.
  • Using Agile product delivery practices; working closely with software engineering to build, test, release, and measure all product initiatives.
  • Managing product backlogs, project timelines, scope, milestones, and prioritization.
Qualifications
  • 2-3+ years Software Product Management experience is required.
  • A passion for commerce platforms. Strong background or familiarity with ecommerce
  • development and related areas.
  • Computer Science, Engineering degree or equivalent technical work experience is strongly
  • Preferred.
  • Understanding of software product lifecycles for multi-stage long-term strategic initiatives for
  • enterprise software or web-based products.
  • Experience with migration strategies related to platforms and applications
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including partner strategy, marketing, business
  • management and customer care;
  • Goal-oriented, detail-oriented, ambitious, and strong ability to follow-through on commitments.
  • Previous experience with Agile development practices an asset.
