Job Description

Project AdministratorCompany: Li-Cycle Corp.Location: Toronto, ONThe Project Administrator has responsibilities to the Spoke Development team. You will manage schedule, plan and coordinate material arrival with the development teams to ensure un- interrupted work at the Spoke fulfillment center. You will interface with development engineering teams, finance, skilled trades, and operations leadership. This role will keep various management metrics updated, including but not limited to, project schedules, maintenance schedules, cost tracking, equipment receipts, spares inventory and vendor purchase orders.Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside Li-Cycle’s Development project team and suppliers, maintain a detailed project schedule for all new build activities and equipment
  • Perform schedule control by determining critical path analysis, planned value, earned value, schedule variance and recommend corrective actions as required
  • Work with Li-Cycle’s Finance team to develop, maintain and report project cost information, including budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecast and variance on direct costs as well as planned, actual, estimate to go and variance on indirect costs on both new builds and maintenance activities
  • Maintain trend and change system and organize schedule review and trend meetings
  • Maintain parts inventory and track cost, delivery and consumption
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of relevant experience in a plant maintenance environment or equipment procurement with detailed knowledge of Cost Control and Scheduling (Hands-on experience is a must),
  • Experience in a fabrication/ procurement environment working with equipment, maintenance personnel and production demands
  • Sound experience with computer based scheduling systems (Microsoft Project, Netsuite, Shepard CMMS) and other computerized applications related to the work is essential (MS Office family of software)
  • Post-secondary education in engineering or relevant discipline or equivalent related experience
  • Facilitation, negotiation skills and report writing skills
  • Strong team player
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to convey project technical information to project managers, engineers and leadership
  • Interested in innovation, sustainability, safety and quality
  • Position is based out of Toronto with travel to Kingston, Ontario.
