  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope.
  • Develop project budgets and timelines and maintain these documents throughout the lifecycle of the project.
  • Set partner expectations and track/communicate project risks.
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring theyre completed on-time and to the established level of shareholder expectations.
  • Coordinate and work closely with designers, engineers and trades.
  • Prepare weekly project status reports and clearly communicate to management and partners when risks are present.
  • Ensure responsible venue access (compliance with building and health and safety regulations).
  • Review on-site work progress and ensure that contractual conditions of performance and quality are met.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Secure permits and licenses if required.
  • Participate in weekly OAC meetings and communicate project status to manager.
  • Organize construction documentation (contracts, as-built drawings, close out materials, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Finance team to reconcile and close out projects.

  • 1-2 years of experience leading construction/renovation projects
  • A background in design, renovations, construction management, architecture, engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of renovation/construction processes, means and methods.
  • MS Project, or similar software and project management tools (i.e. Gantt charts).
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects, with tight deadlines, under minimal supervision
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing environment (agile).
  • Valid drivers license
