Job Description

Project/Product Manager On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Project/Product Manager. Project/Product Manager – Job Description

  • Provide first level strategic input for change and delivery of the assigned capabilities to ensure all deliverables are addressed
  • Support the development and implementation of the long-term strategic plans and change management process by researching impacts of a program/project on the business-related needs, priorities and options while keeping broader business architecture vision in place
  • Assist in building a business case for capability development, defining the rollout plan and supporting ongoing sustainment model by providing accurate research and inputs within enterprise frameworks
  • Collaborate with various business partners like Project Delivery, Technology Delivery and Operations for regular inquiries, feedback and changes
  • Develop portfolio dashboard, capability success metrics, testimonials and portfolio metrics for overall effectiveness of capabilities assigned
  • Participate in the successful execution of the whole lifecycle of assigned key business capabilities by handling financial ownership, and ongoing optimization and sustainment oversight
  • Reduce costs and build capacity by identifying gaps and applying standard methodologies and advanced methods to implement improvements with process, products and services
  • Actively participate in industry committees and conferences for capabilities assigned while staying abreast of emerging issues, trends and developments, assessing potential opportunities and mitigating risks and escalating non-standard activities as necessary
  • Craft a positive, fair and open work environment where the team can freely report business challenges and exchange knowledge to improve and achieve common goals
Project/Product Manager – Mandatory Skills
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in software product management
  • MS Office, analytical tools and techniques and project and risk management methodologies
  • A dynamic individual with a positive attitude who can deliver projects and programs under moderate supervision in a demanding environment
  • A self-motivator with excellent organizational and communications skills to prioritize and multi-task in a collaborative or independent setting
  • Undergraduate degree with over 5 years of relevant work experience in software product management, project coordination, market scan, finance, and technology
  • Proficiency with MS Office, analytical tools and techniques and project and risk management methodologies
  • Good understanding of the industry trends in digitization and automation space, software providers and the factors that differentiate the organization
