Each month, millions of people use the platforms, apps and tools we have built.Role DescriptionAs Versett’s Proposal Writer, your job is to drive new business opportunities from qualification-to-close through your skills as a writer, technical communicator, and business strategist. You will work across service areas and verticals, partnering with Versett’s Associate Partners to define, collect, and create the business intelligence, content, and materials required to close opportunities.You are a key point of connection between Versett Business Development operations and the Versett Delivery teams, and will be required to liaise between Associate Partners, the Growth team, and Delivery team leaders to appropriately scope and respond to business development opportunities.You will report to the VP, Strategy & Business Development, with day-to-day leadership from the Senior Growth Strategist. You will be responsible for supporting, and at times leading, business development opportunities for Versett across North America and International geographies. This extensive coverage will require you to maintain intentional connection to industry trends, business development practices, and content strategy methods across multiple verticals, geographies, and sectors. This will be facilitated by the VP, Strategy & Business Development.Your work will be integral in Versett achieving growth, sales, and partnership goals, and will span RFP, inbound, and networked business development.Responsibilities

  • Proposal Writing (being a lead author, content aggregator, and project manager for the proposal production process)
  • Qualification (Primarily for public sector & higher education RFP opportunities — identification of opportunities, qualification, & strategic summary and insight gathering)
  • Associate Partner Collaboration (Partnering as the prime supporter on business development opportunities surfaced by Versett Associate Partners, functioning as a strategy partner, content creator, and team collaborator)
  • Business Development Operations (Creation, refinement, and enforcement of operational frameworks for business development, including sales enablement frameworks & content management)
  • Response Project Management (Managing Delivery team contributors to shape and aggregate estimates, approaches, and assumptions for business development opportunities)
  • CRM Management & Reporting (Owning all attached deals in Hubspot, contributing to timely data updates, and attending any required forecasting or projection-based sessions)
  • Vertical Knowledge Management (Continuously self-educating on relevant industry trends, technology changes, and business development strategies relevant to Versett’s primary sales verticals)
