The Department of Psychology at the Hospital for Sick Children is currently recruiting for a Psychometrist who, under the direction and supervision of a registered psychologist, will carry out the administration, scoring, and data management of all psychometric testing and clinical assessments of children and adolescents (ages 3-18). Specifically, the Psychometrist should have specialized knowledge of test administration of functioning and social-emotional well-being associated with medical diagnosis and treatment within the context of the childs developmental history and family functioning. The psychometrist will primarily work with school-age children and adolescents with a variety of complex medical conditions in the areas of neurology (e.g., epilepsy, inflammatory syndromes, stroke), hematology/oncology, genetics/metabolics, and cardiology. The Psychometrist may also become involved with on-going research projects, including managing the clinical database, and other duties as required.Here’s What You’ll Get to Do
