Job Description

The lowdown: We are looking for a tenacious problem solver to join our Quality Assurance team working with our framework development team.This is a QA role for the confident and diligent individual who can come up with creative ways of testing to ensuring that our new functional features and enhancements work properly.A typical workday:

  • Working in a SCRUM team conducting tests on new features and issues
  • Working closely with Product Management and Developers to validate fixes and updates
  • Creating test data, tools and environments as required to support testing
  • Creating test plans, test cases and scripts for product releases based on designs
  • Writing automation test scripts
  • Conducting regression tests on features, fixes and resolved issues
  • Documenting test results and tracking issues found
  • Performing local deployments and working with various types of application servers and databases
Are you what were looking for
  • You are ready to roll up your sleeves and able to manage multiple tasks at a time
  • You have a methodical, deliberate and analytic mindset coupled with enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • You are ready to grind out the various technical problems which will be encountered and will be proactive at doing research when solutions are not readily available.
  • You have experience with Software Development Life Cycles and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics, methodologies and documentation standards
  • You have exposure to and an understanding of an Agile SCRUM environment
  • You have experience with programming languages such as Java, Javascript and Scheme
  • You have knowledge of relational database technologies such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and the can write SQL queries
  • You have experience using Eclipse IDE
  • You have experience using Version Control Systems
  • You have experience working with Application Servers
  • You have knowledge of Web Servers
  • You have outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • You have a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree
Nice To Have:
  • You have knowledge of Build Automation Tools - Apache ANT
  • You have experience writing automation test scripts and using Automated test tools such as Selenium or Katalon.
  • You have experience writing JUnit and QUnit tests.
  • Familiarity or experience with Financial Services organizations, such as Wealth Management, Life Insurance, P&C Insurance, Investment Banking and Retail Banking
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with Jenkins Automation Server
