6 Month contract to startHourly Rate: $43-47 / Per Hour (Must be Incorporated)Flexibility in hours: Might be some off shift hours requiredIndustry: P amp;C InsuranceOur P amp;C Insurance client in Toronto, is searching a highly motivated Intermediate manual QA Analyst to join their team for a 6 month contract to start with possibility of extension. This role would primarily support the CI/FL and MSI lines of business team, as well as possibility of helping other lines of business as they have capacity. Any experience with insurance concepts would be ideal. Can include working extra hours depending on product release. Review and analyze system specificationsCreation of test strategy documents and detailed test plans/matricesThoroughly understand the functional requirements and the solution to test efficiently and effectivelyPerform risk assessments in conjunction with the teamProvide defect analysis, daily reporting, and management reportingAssist in defining quality procedures, standards, and specificationsAbility to focus on deadlines and deliverablesWork closely with the project team and key stake holdersRequirements: Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role / Test AutomationGood knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plusDevelop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated)Working knowledge of test management softwareExcellent organizationamp; communication skillsOversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practicesAct as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releasesExperience in P amp;C Insurance is an asset.If you meet the above requirements and are interested in this opportunity, we would be happy to schedule a phone call to discuss the position further.
