Job Description

WHO WE ARESid Lee is a borderless creative agency applying storytelling, design and technology to build customer experiences that matter. Their multi-disciplinary team of 900 professionals works as one, out of offices in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris, London, LA and Seattle. Working side by side with progressive clients, they deploy their creative capabilities in several disciplines, ranging from design to interactive and experiential communication to advertising and architecture. Practicing agile creative and production development, as well as radical collaboration both internally and with their clients, they create work that matters, allowing their clients to outperform their competitors and earn the trust and loyalty of their customers.ROLEThe Receptionist reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with them on daily tasks. They are responsible for warmly welcoming people into the agency, employees and clients alike. The role consists primarily of hospitality duties, mixed with some additional responsibilities for Talent & Culture. The successful candidate would also be part of the social committee, support the communication team with comms-related activities, and be heavily involved in the operations side of the business.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcome employees to the office when they arrive
  • Welcome guests and clients and direct them to their appropriate destination
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings and events, including but not limited to food setup, beverage prep, and clean up
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries (packages, office equipment and furniture)
  • Maintain inventory of all office and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist the Director of Operations with daily tasks
  • Assist with new hire onboarding – which may include desk preparation, equipment delivery, and office tours
  • Work with Talent to facilitate the in-person onboarding of new hires
  • Perform other general office/administrative duties as required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Computer skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, internet)
  • Hospitality background or relevant experience is an asset
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • French is a strong asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Very proactive and resourceful
  • Can quickly adapt to change
  • Strong planning and organizing abilities – an efficient time-manager
  • Discretion and good judgement
  • Positive, professional attitude
