We are looking for people capable of adapting relentlessly to the rapidly evolving world around us.Position Summary: Seeking a Reporting Analyst within our Operations team. You would be a business savvy person who can make heads and tails of data, working closely with business leaders who will use this data to drive day to day operational analysis and reporting. The data will be diverse. It will be trend analysis of technical issues by customer or issue category one day and building financial models the next.Flexibility to context switch between different leader’s needs is critical to this role. This role boils down to gathering and analyzing operational data (technical or financial), preparing reports, working closely with stakeholders on process improvements and ensuring integrity of the data itself. The Reporting Analyst has excellent analytical and technical skills, in addition to a keen ability to determine specifications and standards for business reporting and maintaining data integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: • Perform regular (daily, weekly and monthly) tasks to collect data from various systems (including JIRA) generating operational reports that drive the business, including maintenance of existing automated data collection and reporting processes • Analyze the resulting data, and provide ongoing reports to all levels from technical staff to executives including highlighting trends or areas of concern • Collaborate regularly with key stakeholders (managers, engineers other internal resources and customers) to gather ongoing reporting requirements • Present data in a way that is meaningful and readily accessible to customer Key Skills and Competencies: • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience • 3-4+ years of relevant IT experience in a customer service based organization • Experience working with automated ticketing systems such as JIRA • Experience and understanding customer support terms such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests, Configuration Management • Prior experienced in creating reports and reporting on KPIs • Skilled in Microsoft/Google Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) • Exposure or experience working with reporting tools or dashboards with a well-rounded understanding of analytics is an asset • Ability to look for and suggest efficiencies in process and identify patterns in data • Demonstrated high level of communication, both written and verbal • Ability to interact with internal and external clients and customers in a professional manner • Strong organizational and analytical skills - has the ability to make sense of ambiguous data • Have a high attention to detail and commitment to quality • Contributes to and promotes a positive work environment where people are on-side, feel a collective sense of accountability, and are recognized for success • Committed to ensuring a high level of stakeholder satisfaction through prompt and efficient communication and proactive support • Decisive and able to adapt to change and competing demands • Be a motivated team player with strong coordination abilities, high level of rigor and is able to function in a dynamic environment.
