Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto is an outstanding professional faculty that ranks among the premier nursing programs in the world in both education and research.The Student & Youth Mental Health Research Initiative (SYMHRI) was developed in response to recommendations of the Presidential and Provostial Task Force on Student Mental Health. This high priority initiative will establish a unique interdisciplinarynetwork that engages researchers across all three of University of Toronto’s campuses and the Centre for Addictions and Mental Health (CAMH). This network will be led by a steering committee of researchers with engagement with students, clinicians,and administrators to inform research priorities that address gaps in evidence on student mental health and addictions. This network will collaboratively set the direction for interdisciplinary research on mental health for students and youth.With support from the Connaught Global Challenge Program, the SYMHRI will be uniquely positioned to be a global leader in student and youth mental health research by developing collaborative, interdisciplinary research partnerships with the leading globalstudent and youth mental health researchers from The Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto and other expert researchers from around the world.Your opportunity:Under the general direction of the Chair of the SYMHRI, an international expert on youth mental health, the successful incumbent will be required to provide administrative and coordination support for a research initiative that will leverage collaborative and interdisciplinary partnerships with leading student and youth mental health researchers from the around the world. The Research Program Administrator will coordinate the planning of events and programming, including supporting the development of the student-driven research training modules; collating findings from meetings; organizing in-person and virtual meetings; organizing website content; communicating network activities/impact via U of T Communication services; and assisting with report preparation.Your responsibilities will include:
