Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.As a core member of our Risk and Transparency team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.Your Role:Produce quantitative portfolio risk reports (market/credit/liquidity) using a wide variety of proprietary technologies and data sources for Buy-Side institutional investment clients.Analyze quantitative results and find potential for process improvements and automationPerform data entry and first level data validation and ad-hoc reporting as requiredTest new risk technology offerings for quantitative and qualitative assuranceFrequently communicate with clients and internal stakeholdersPerform data analysis and modification/cleaning as necessaryAbout You:Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following (Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math) or equivalent and/or equivalent experienceProven quantitative and analytical skills. Ability to learn a wide variety of new concepts quickly and investigate issues/problems independentlySQL (Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server) queries (select, insert, update, joins, Stored Proc nice to have)Proven ability to break complex problems down into pieces and proactively narrow down a resolutionOutstanding interpersonal communication skillsStrong sense of accountability and ownershipExemplary command of the English language and effective professional communication styleAttention to detail, commitment to accuracy and avoidance of errorsCommitment to meet tight deadlines and multi-taskingStrong Excel (Vlookups, VBA functions, lookup tables)Highly desired : Understanding of financial products, risk-free valuation, Black-Scholes and risk metrics such as Value at Risk, Exposures and Stress TestingAbility and willingness to work over-time to meet business requirementsOur BenefitsYour well being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
