Description*Note - Travel is required· Work with CACC management team to plan for NG911 transition including operational readiness, training, communication, user acceptance testing, and monitoring.· Delivery focused project manager who gathers and develops business and project requirements for the NG911 solution to create business case, facilitate procurement and implement solution.· Deliver extensive knowledge of the current and emerging 911 technologies to meet needs identified by the PSAP user community.· Leverage existing CRTC ESWG expertise to develop a plan for Ministry response to NG911.· Demonstrated experience directing project teams (NG911 technologies SMEs) to ensure project deliverables to meet business needs and standards.· Proactively identifies potential risk events and issues before they occur so that proper mitigating strategies can be developed· Ability to promote I amp;IT project management best practices and adherence to standard methodologies· Sources, selects and on-boards team members in various disciplines, clarify roles and responsibilities and set task/deliverable/performance expectations for resources that are both OPS unionized employees as well as fee for service (FFS) consultants.· Effectively manages large project budgets and ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, gating, forecasts, and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.· Establishes and participates in steering committee and stakeholder forums.· Provides, project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels.NOTEThe resources will be required to travel to multiple dispatch centres/CACCs across the province to develop and coordinate 911 training. Expenditures/reimbursements for travel will be in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW.Assignment Type: This position is currently listed asquot;Hybrid quot; as consultants will be required to work partly in the physical workplace and partly remotely. The details of this arrangement will be at the Hiring Manager #39;s discretion.SkillsExperience and Skill Set RequirementsTechnical Experience· Experience facilitating diverse system stakeholders in highly integrated and complex solution delivery environments, providing leadership and advice to establish common business objectives and solution roadmaps, while developing business standards and realizing system automation.
