DescriptionPlan, establish priorities and aids in project tasks as needed. Coordinate project team members and completes assigned tasks within allocated time.· Develop and maintain relationships with clients to manage expectations. Help to develop and implement performance metrics to measure project success· Create and manage the assigned work package within the overall project plan, including all components, documents and reports.· Vendor Management· Develop project schedules considering the project objectives, responsibilities, accountabilities, timelines and resource availability.· Plan, establish priorities and aids in project tasks as needed. Make recommendations to mitigate identified risks and escalates risks as they become issues.· Develop and maintain relationships with clients to manage expectations. Help to develop and implement performance metrics to measure project success· Promote Public Sector I amp;IT project management best practices, resource management standards, and adheres to standard methodologies.· Manage projects to Public Sector I amp;IT Standards· Adhere to Public Sector I amp;IT standards and best practices for project management to facilitate control of system quality; adhere to standard methodology and the control of the use of I amp;IT resources.· Participate in steering committee and stakeholder forums· Provide project reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels.· Proactively identify risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Identify and mitigate strategies and responses to the issues and risks.· Vendor Management· Ensure the development and delivery of business cases where applicable (i.e. management board submissions) to seek approval for long term supportamp; maintenance contracts with Ministry vendors.· Coordinate project plans with Public Safety Operations· Have experience working on the PSRN project

• PSRN experience
• Worked on projects with a high number of IT hardware that were being decommissioned and needed to be tracked
• Must be able to work at designated head office 3 days a week.

*Travel requiredNOTEThe resource will be required to travel to multiple dispatch centres/CACCs across the province to provide project support and coordinate/remediate the telephony training in order to implement the new PSRN solution.Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract. No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW.Assignment Type: This position is currently listed asquot;Hybrid quot; as consultants will be required to work partly in the physical workplace and partly remotely. The details of this arrangement will be at the Hiring Manager #39;s discretion.SkillsExperience and Skill Set RequirementsProject Management and Coordination Skills· 5+ years of experience with Project Management

• Working knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI)
• Demonstrated experience in Project Management methodologies, producing documentation, collaterals, and artefacts
• Demonstrated experience with project and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong MS Project and SharePoint knowledge
• Demonstrated IT project management experience managing all phases (concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout) of large scale, complex IT projects.
• Effectively manages large project budgets and ensures a high level of fiscal control and accountability including estimates, forecasts and reconciliation/confirmation of actuals.
• Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Content Management
• Demonstrated experience gathering and developing requirements for project charters, and integrated project plans
• Demonstrated experience identifying and evaluating specific issues or risks, providing options analysis and recommending action plans to mitigate the risks

• Demonstrated experience preparing and distributing project updates, progress reports to project stakeholder while managing expectations pertaining to scope and timeline constraints
• Demonstrated experience identifying and acquiring a mix of skilled technical resources necessary to complete project assignments/deliverables; including clarifying roles and responsibilities
• Demonstrated experience communicating across many functional areas to actively engage project stakeholders and manage client expectations with diverse interests, technical and non- technical backgrounds using the appropriate level of political acuity and messaging for the audience.
• Written communication skills to prepare authoritative recommendations, proposals and reports; such as Briefing Notes and executive presentations
• A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
• Strong discipline in resolving resourcing and inter-personal conflicts, ensures knowledge is shared among team members to achieve project objectives Demonstrated experience leading presentations for senior management, stakeholders and teams
