Capital Developments currently has over 6.0 million square feet of high-rise residential and mixed-use projects under development in Toronto, equivalent to approximately 6,250 residential units and 300,000 square feet of retail. We are committed to providing a dynamic and rewarding environment in which our employees can thrive.Position SummaryThe Marketing Co-Ordinator will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Marketing team in their marketing and communication needs. Capital Developments is looking for a self-starter who is outgoing, organized, hard-working and enjoys working in a small office environment.Key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Grow and monitor the presence of our brand across social media platforms, with the goal of increasing and interacting with our followers as well as review of potential opportunities and threats;
  • Develop strategies to increase engagement with target audiences, while understanding Capital
Developments overall goals and objectives;
  • Manage organic and paid social media campaigns, including content creation across copywriting, video creation and imagery for social media;
  • Directly maintain outreach on social media channels, monitoring conversations, and responding to consumer inquiries, comments and escalation if required;
  • Preparing well structured drafts using digital word processing and publishing platforms for review by management;
  • Frequent site visits/activities in Toronto for the purpose of taking photos for posting on social media;
  • Develop and manage an editorial plan/calendar for social media and blogs to meet business objectives, following brand style and voice;
  • Create and maintain a media content calendar to highlight key capabilities and strategic priorities, company thought leadership and business objectives;
  • Analyze campaign data to determine what works/doesn’t work, optimize real-time performance and the creation of future sponsored content;
  • Research industry related topics.
Qualifications
  • Brings experience in a similar or related role;
  • Ability to write and communicate well;
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond to deadlines on multiple projects in a timely and professional manner;
  • A willingness to share different perspectives to contribute to new approaches to go beyond expectations;
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail;
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Wordpress, Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc. is a plus;
  • Ability to take drone footage and video editing is an asset.
