Job Description

CHANEL is currently looking for a permanent full-time Seamstress for our CHANEL Bloor Boutique located in Holt Renfrew.As a Seamstress, you will provide premium tailoring services to boutique clients, maintaining the CHANEL standards in all areas. To create strong client relationships and brand loyalty by ensuring excellent client service, product knowledge and care, personal presentation and teamwork at all times.Main Responsibilities

  • Providing premium tailoring services to boutique clients
  • Ensure that the Tailor Shop is kept clean and tidy at all times and that products sold are altered and/or adjusted neatly and promptly
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to all queries, both by staff and clients, and ensure both are always kept informed as appropriate
  • Arrange for appropriate fittings as necessary
  • Offer relevant after sales care information, including the appropriate information regarding cleaning, overall care of product
  • Check the quality of stock products as requested by boutique team, repairing as necessary
  • Check and ensure the quality of finished alterations, ensuring cleanliness and accuracy of work
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following background:
  • 3-5 years of tailoring experiences
  • Experience in customer service
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills (essential)
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicate skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Willing to work retail business hours which include weekends and flexible to business demands, including some out of hours as required.
