Our work supports the company #39;s backbone, managing distributed and highly robust systems that keep business operations running smoothly even as we process petabytes of data requiring sub-second response times. We embrace and champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate and streamline our infrastructure management processes using cutting-edge technologies such as Spark, NoSQL databases, Kafka, and Kubernetes.Position: Senior DevOps EngineerAs a Senior DevOps Engineer on our infrastructure team, your responsibilities will pivot towards leveraging IaC methods to enhance operational efficiencies and system reliability. You will:

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage and provision our cloud and on-premise infrastructure through code.
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of both infrastructure and applications.
• Optimize architecture continuously by implementing and refining automated operation and maintenance tools, monitoring systems, and alarms.
• Ensure high availability and resilience by responding to and resolving various online incidents, maintaining service availability around the clock.
• Lead distributed system operations including capacity planning, resource scheduling, and ensuring system and network security.
• Formulate and optimize operational solutions focusing on system scalability, resource optimization, and high-availability constructions.

Requirements

• Profound understanding of network infrastructure, including equipment, protocols, and operational management.
• Extensive experience with network and infrastructure automation tools and technologies.
• Proficiency in IaC and familiar with DevOps methodologies and practices.
• Strong background in the Linux operating environment, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with large-scale cloud services and a deep understanding of cloud computing products.
• Knowledge of container technologies and platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Skilled in using configuration management and orchestration tools, notably Ansible.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Java, with proven development experience.
• Strong sense of responsibility and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Cassandra, and Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Maven.
