Job Description

Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React)Location: 100% Remote, CanadaExperience: 5+ YearsRole Summary: NearSource is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React) to join a global development team supporting enterprise-scale product initiatives. The selected candidate will contribute to core architecture and front-end/backend development while collaborating with engineers and designers across geographies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable code for enterprise-grade products
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure architectural soundness and code quality
  • Develop accurate estimates, assess risks, and identify dependencies for effective planning
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, and design teams across global engineering sites
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and client-side development using React and Redux
  • Solid experience with Node.js and dependency management using NPM
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying applications via CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with web-based technologies, architecture, and design patterns
  • Experience using Git and GitHub for source control
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Exposure to software architecture principles and scalable design practices
  • Experience with enterprise-grade UI/UX design collaboration
