You will lead a team of associates to manage full cycle projects by providing high quality services to clients from private and public sectors.Manage project staffing, budget, profitability, and delivery.Represent LRI Engineering in all interactions with clients and be the contact person for client consultation on all assigned projectsVisit sites and attend meetings with clients and Authorities Having JurisdictionReview drawings and provide alternative solutionsPrepare and manage project budgets and proposalsManage client expectations in terms of quality and scheduleConduct peer review of projects being executed for various clientsDeploy staff and other necessary resources to ensure timely completion of projects.Mentor and coach early career employees in teamIdentify and actively pursue business opportunities and contribute to marketing efforts as required.What’s in your bagRelevant degree in engineering or architecture4-10 years of relevant experience including design, construction, and code compliance, working on medium to large size residential, commercial, institutional and public projects e.g. hospitals, universities, malls, airports, towers, etc.Expert level knowledge of Ontario Building Code (Part 3), National Building Code (NBC) and Fire Codes (NFCamp; NFPA)Analytical, time management, and organizational skillsSelf-driven with a high level of initiative and resourcefulnessVersatile and able to manage varying workloads and competing prioritiesAbility to establish positive relationships with project team members and clientsAble to obtain government security clearanceProficient with Microsoft OfficeBut here’s the thing – we’re not just looking for someone who meets our requirement alone.
