NOW’s technology and services serve as the foundation of our client’s digital transformations, working with our deep vertical expertise to create next generation Vertical Intelligence (VI) solutions in the industry.Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis will make a significant contribution in building NOW’s scalable finance function. Partnering with the Senior Leadership team and external stakeholders, this role will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating financial and operational data across the business units, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendation on strategic initiatives. The Senior Manager will also support the M amp;A function and play a key part in the integration of newly acquired businesses, as well as contribute positively to the emerging culture of our global team.Key Responsibilities· Support the CFO with reporting to market analysts and prospective investors by contributing to the overall narrative of the company’s financial performance.· Support the CFO and CDO with M amp;A due diligence, deals and financing related transactions.· Build and maintain complex financial models and dashboards to support strategic initiatives and track company KPIs and metrics.· Lead the financial integration of acquired companies and accounting for M amp;A acquisitions.· Act as a trusted advisor to the business units and support them throughout the forecasting and reporting cycles.· Lead the monthly/quarterly internal reporting process to evaluate the business unit’s actual performance to plan, highlighting key risks and opportunities.· Build relationships with external partners (investors, analysts, lenders, auditors, tax advisors) and ensure compliance with existing banking arrangements such as lending covenants and foreign exchange hedging.· Play an active role in NetSuite implementation of global accounting teams.· Identify and initiate process improvements related to analytics tools and internal reporting to elevate the quality and efficiency of the Financial Planningamp; Analysis activities.· Support the finance team with the design and maintenance of financial processes including transfer pricing, cross-selling, revenue recognition, etc.· Participation in the quarter end close process required to complete all statutory filings and board reporting deliverables.· Proactively identify solutions to existing and emerging financial issues and opportunities.Requirements· 2-3 years of M amp;A, due diligence, deal experience· Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in high-growth and acquisitive organizations· Excellent Excel, FP amp;A tools and comfortable working within accounting systems· Proficient in BI tools and working with data sets· Experience with accounting for a global, multi-entity, multi-currency organization· CPA designation, CBV or CFA designation is a plus· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field· Highly organized, independent, and adaptable to changing business environments· Strong project management and problem-solving skills· Excellent written and verbal communications skills· NetSuite experience an assetBenefits· Generous vacation policy· Healthy benefits package paid from day 1!· Flexible work environment· Stock option
