Job Description

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing software components to meet business, quality, and operational requirements.
  • Write high-quality code through unit testing and test-driven development practices.
  • Lead and participate in code and document reviews, providing mentorship to the team on best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including peer organizations and DevOps, to resolve technical issues and offer guidance.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements, providing accurate estimates.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure optimal software quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot code-level issues efficiently and effectively with the team.
  • Use deep technical expertise to resolve complex programming and design challenges.
  • Focus on ensuring the scalability, security, and availability of all applications and processes.
  • Contribute to software design and architecture to ensure security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in the development of the technical roadmap, addressing technical debt while balancing time, resources, and quality constraints to meet business and strategic goals.
Required Skills:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of development experience.
  • Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Extensive experience in Java and Node.js programming languages.
  • Expertise in Microservices, API development, and RESTful services.
  • Proficient in writing unit and integration tests to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
