Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior Systems Analyst Data Office in Toronto, ON Canada - contract position. Position SummaryThe Systems Analyst will analyze, design and test software solutions to meet our business objectives. They have outstanding problem-solving abilities and can communicate their ideas easily to others. They are willing to learn to technologies and eager to apply their learning’s in a fast-paced environment.Duties Include:Liaises with business stakeholders and other teams to understand business objectives and design a solution that will meet their decision support and management reporting needs.Elicits requirements from business stakeholders through interviews, workshops, business process analysis, business scenarios, and user stories.Analyzes and conceptualizes the design of the data solution, working with the Systems Architect and Software Developer to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology.Analyzing the transactional system data requirements and modeling the data design to match the enterprise data warehouse design.Identifying outlying data patterns and data cleanliness issues for resolution.Working with the data architecture team to understand the design of the data warehouse.Documenting the high-level design for the software development team.Design of models (including views, table functions, etc.), ensuring alignment to standards both industry (e.g., Kimball) and internal.Ensuring the quality of the solution by testing the results of the development meets the requirements of thebusiness.RequirementsPost-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline (CMA, MBA, Management Information Systems, Commerce, Business Analysis, and Computer Science).5+ years’ experience working with business principles and a broad range of different types of business functions.Strong understanding of IS Methodologies, processes and practices, and experience with data systems analysis and data warehouse design.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that rely on a structured approach to problem solving.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.Effective planning and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to change and perform effectively under pressure.Experience in Financial Services and Wealth Management industries would be an asset.Experience in the writing and use of SQLExperience in Tableau would be an assetKnowledge of SAP in the one or more of the following areas (Web Intelligence, ECC, BW and HANA) would
