Senior Systems Analyst - Financial ApplicationsOn behalf of our client in the Financial Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications.Senior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications – Job DescriptionLiaises with business stakeholders to understand industry trends and business objectives to design the solution that will meet their business requirementsDefines and communicates systems requirements at the appropriate level of detail to ensure applications are flexible, open, scalable, available, testable and maintainable within a high-volume production environmentAnalyzes and conceptualizes the design of the solution, working with the Systems Architects, Vendors, Software Developers and Quality Assurance/Testing to achieve the client stakeholder objectives through effective deployment of technology.Applies both in-depth business and technical knowledge, to successfully represent the business and technology community in arriving at technical solutionsMentoring junior team members including identifying and assisting in career growthSenior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications – Mandatory SkillsDemonstrated ability to provide technology recommendations to the businessExperience working with Developers, Architects and Quality Assurance to design and analyze alternative technical solutions, test completed code and complete a smooth implementation with business partnersProficient analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skillsAdvanced knowledge, experience, and understanding of architecture, application development, application systems design, and integrationDemonstrated proficiency in a team environment with projects involving the integration of disparate types of technologies/platforms and agile developmentStrong communication skills (oral, written, facilitation, presentation)Excellent ability to summarize complex and sensitive topics to effectively communicate to senior stakeholdersAbility to self-direct, own tasks and provide appropriate status to leadershipPost-secondary education in a related disciplineExperience being a leader within teams with varied disciplines and skill levelsDemonstrated initiative - comfortable managing issues in cross functional teamsCapability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and relationshipsPositive attitude, keeping a constant watch on how to do things betterAdaptability and a willingness to take on new challengesConflict and issue resolution and escalationExceptional SQL skills and experience performing data analysisExperience supporting and optimizing batch schedulesFamiliar with API investigation and troubleshootingSenior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications – Nice to Have SkillsKnowledge of the Wealth Management and Financial Services industryExperience with the RBroker platformExperience with Financial Services industry partners like FundSERV, NBCN, CDS, CannexSenior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications - Assignment Start DateASAP – 6 months to startSenior Systems Analyst - Financial Applications - Assignment LocationToronto, ON – Hybrid
