Job Description – Server TitleServerReports ToRestaurant ManagerSummaryServers take guests food and beverage orders and serve these orders to guests. This position will require you to serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests and variety of food options from our menu. The server must possess excellent communication skills and have a positive attitude. Centreville Amusement Park is a fantastic place for anyone who is looking for a workplace that is in an outdoors environment. We are company that wants our employees to succeed and have fun, by hosting staff BBQs, Semi Formal at the end of the season and we also provide our employees with a ferry pass that allows employees to get to and from work and that can also be used at other attractions in Ontario and a uniform.Job Duties

  • Greet guests, present menus, and make recommendations from menu
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff using POS
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Present bill to guests and accept payment
  • Prepares the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items…etc.
  • Suggestive sell dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details including allergy information, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks.
  • Create an excellent dining experience, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses.
  • Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.
  • Assisting with special events as needed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Compensation:
  • $15.00/hour plus gratuities
  • Ferry Card provided
  • Uniform provided
