Job Description

Join our team in our mission to continue to put patients and families at the centre of everything we do, in the role of Storekeeper.QUALIFICATIONS:Grade 12 education or educational equivalent required.Minimum of 1 year recent Storekeeper/Inventory Control Experience with a large organization required (Candidates who do not have 1 year Storekeeper/Inventory Control experience may be considered if there are no internal or external qualified candidates).Knowledge of PCs and handheld barcode devices and the ability to analyse data for input and recall information.Must demonstrate an ability to understand and comply with store keeping and inventory procedures and methods. Clinical product knowledge an asset.Able to perform the full range of duties as required in this position including some lifting of weight (e.g. carrying up to 60lbs/132kgs) and working in a variety of different climates/temperatures. Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pump trucks (manual and powered).Demonstrated initiative, flexibility & proven ability to work independently and to complete work in a timely manner.Demonstrated customer service skills and knowledge.Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team player.Proven ability to get along well with co-workers, patients and staff.Strong English written and verbal communication skills.Must be accurate, thorough and detail-minded.Satisfactory attendance record.As part of our COVID-19 response, this position may be asked to deliver vaccines in the community.Quick Apply
