As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:Work with financial and operational data from primary or secondary data sourcesGathering business requirements and documentation following Agile PracticesWork with Product Managers and Stakeholders to prioritize business data needsAssist with ad-hoc requests related to finance data analyticsData standardization by reviewing extracts, reports, printouts, and performance indicators to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems, including data quality, integrity issues and follow data governance policiesWork with management teams to prioritize business, analytics and information needs and understand dashboard requirementsDevelop and support financial and operational reporting dashboards within Power BIAssist with the preparation and development of reporting, presentations and various materials for discussion at the executive levelExhibit ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and ensure on-time deliveryIdentify, define and implement opportunities for enhancing existing processesYou bring the following skills and qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or related fieldStrong academic track record combined with extra-curricular experienceExcellent programming skills including knowledge of VBA, SQL and Power BIA creative and enquiring mind to continuously improve current processesSelf-starter and independent attitudeStrong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environmentOur story:Founded in 1962, OMERS is one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plans, with $121 billion in net assets as at December 31, 2021.
