  • The Studio Camera Operator and Investing News Editor will be accountable for video production of client-facing investing editorial/investment news videos and producing internal-facing corporate videos. This includes of one the most exciting properties in the MoneyTalk family: a live daily program to educate and inform our clients. This person will be responsible for operating cameras, audio equipment, and lighting in live and non-live productions as well as post-production video editing and other studio operations.
Job RequirementsCore Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced creative services including shooting and editing client and employee-facing videos.
  • Executing live and pre-recorded financial news productions in a remote environment (eg, wirecast, OBS)
  • Operate multiple cameras for live and pre-recorded video studio shoots (Birddog PTZs and Blackmagic URSAs)
  • Be able to shoot and edit under tight timelines (hours) and have proven experience producing news-paced investment content
Core Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a live news studio environment (financial news an asset)
  • Expert in operations of video studio: cameras, lighting, audio production, data management, etc
  • Experience with live broadcast and video switching
  • Experience with PTZ operations
  • Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (comfortable with entire Adobe Creative suite a bonus)
  • Experience using Web Content Management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver actionable recommendations from analysis

  • Able to facilitate and execute solutions throughout the project lifecycle: including discovery, initial assessment, solution definition, negotiation of key partnerships, development of creative, implementation, measurement and reporting
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and keep current with emerging strategies, capabilities and/or trends for video solutions
  • Actively able to resolve escalated issues and manage changes within the project
  • An expert consultant, providing advice and guidance on multimedia solutions and multimedia initiatives/issues
